Development and production of an efficient, autonomous logistics solution for modern production environments.

To optimise internal transport processes, a compact, autonomously operating transport system was developed. This system navigates independently in its environment and communicates both with other units and with a central ERP system. It requires no special infrastructure such as lines or induction loops and moves autonomously and safely.

Intelligent Navigation and Flexible Handling
Thanks to its compact design, the transport system can drive into standard Euro pallets and lift them without any additional lifting mechanisms. Individually or in a fleet, it can effortlessly transport goods of all sizes and weights, from small and light to large and heavy loads.

When transporting Euro pallets, the system requires no more space than the pallet itself. Its additional lateral mobility makes it particularly useful in confined spaces or areas requiring precise manoeuvring. But it’s not just Euro pallets that can be transported – anything from shopping trolleys and roll containers to hospital bed frames is conceivable.

Modular System Architecture
The system features a plug-in PCB for Raspberry Pi, allows programming of custom routines directly on the drive, and provides control via various analogue and digital inputs. Its compact form factor (56 x 85 mm) and versatile interface integration make it extremely flexible.

 

Successful Implementation
With a project budget of 180,000 CHF and a duration of 18 months, the transport system was successfully developed and transitioned into series production. The system has proven itself in practice and contributes to increased efficiency in logistics.
